Stewardship-Designated Gift Funds
Saint James parish has various designated funds that have been established from gifts of the parishioners. the donors have specifed where the funds are to be spent. These gifts have traditionally been given in addition to pledges that have been made for operating the church.
Holy Innocents Fund
The primary use of this fund is for children at risk. It has been used in the past for things like scholarships to attend Camp Mikell in the summer.
Memorial Garden Fund
The primary use of this fund is to maintain and improve St James Memorial Garden which is located across the parking lot from the entrance to the church.
Memorial Saints Fund
This fund was set up for gifts that were given to honor or memorialize someone. the use of the fund can be faried and sometimes is specifically directed by the donor. It must be accepted and approved by the Vestry.
Capital Maintenance Fund
This fund is used for improvementsor specific long term maintenance projects primarily building maintenance as an example replacing the church roof.
Building Fund
This fund is for additions to the church or the church offices.
Endowment Funds
The Church Endowment Fund and various other special endowments are established to supplement church operations. The fund principal is invested to provide interest income to supplement budgeted operations.
